You and your rock trio face sinister madness. What is Allautou, and whom does the demon possess? Stop her- risk possession- or run for your life?
Nearly two hours' game play, and even more when you compare twenty-four different endings. You can reach them all with a Choice click.
With dark humor, paths containing differing motivations for the characters, creepy secrets and hidden powers, danger with explanations reserved for those who survive, alone...it's you, Lue Cypher, and (in some threads, playable character) Kane Z, versus the curse....

Versus the Curse of Allautou!
Welcome. You are the player character, a musician who's joined a band for a party gig.
Things started off pretty sweet. Then, a decidedly anti-social vibe starts as a ripple...
 The story? You're a bass guitar player, hired to play in a trio called Toys of Desperation. The gig? A party out at Professor Emily Sayers' country villa.
It's a killer show, but afterwards, we find Lue Cypher, on edge after a conversation concerning the occult.

Then an awful yawp rings through the rustic night air. Do you want to find out what happened?
Should you go inside and tell the host?
Or will your curiosity draw you out into the moon-dappled forest?

Which ever direction you choose, you'll be confronted with snap decisions and supernatural insanity. You may think you've figured out the motivations behind the demon and other characters, only to see the script flip when you travel down another grove of pathways.

Well, now it's your choice. Want to try your luck...Versus the Curse of Allautou? For the time being, I want to make this available for online play, without requiring a download. I am simply opening the way to our games bringing revenue, too. For online play: It's presently listed under the original title, Give Up Your Earthly Possessions. (I underestimated how many people would not recognize the title as a part of a quotation attributed to Jesus Christ in the Gospels.)

Thirty three years ago, today! (That is, August 27th, 1985) Oh, the stories these opened up for me. Alphabetically, fans could find every character still living who'd made at least three appearances, as well as many brand new lights. Origins, major life events, stories from twenty-five years of great Marvel continuity. You could even find out how tall, how heavy, or what color eyes the character should have, which sort of personalizes them and makes them all the more easy to imagine. You could find some description of every single power a character has, and often, see an Eliot R. Brown- illustrated blueprint for their best known weapons, vehicles, and acoutrement. Mangani is the name of a fictional species of great apes in the Tarzan novels of Edgar Rice Burroughs, and of the invented language used by these apes. In the invented language, Mangani (meaning "great-ape") is the apes' word for their own kind, although the term is also applied (with modifications) to humans.
