Tripping Through Marvel Con: a two-fer!

Harold took the train from Delaware; here's one shy fan's story about visiting Marvel Con 75, and a bit about his early collecting days. I recommend looking up Harold's encounter with STan and Roy, in our 5 minute podblast "A FAn Meets STan and Roy" too!

Some fun scans Harold sent:

I also continued talking to the Marvle Con '75 event photographer, Sam Maronie! Here's a great discussion of his nostalgic inside look at the making of classic Hollywood movies and shows, his new book Tripping Through Pop Culture.
Sam's collected memorabilia and a vast array of interviews with some of the behind-the-scenes people who created your favorite cult movies. I met him as a convention photographer, for an interview about Marvel Con '75, one of his first, if not the first, photo assignment he took on of that sort. You can listen to that one in our December archives! I have more from that interview, too, coming up in our March podcasts. But here, Sam talks about his new book, and the changes in pop culture that made what was disposable now indispensible!
